KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Patrick Mahomes left the Kansas City Chiefs‘ divisional round playoff game against the Cleveland Browns in the third quarter and was later ruled out with a concussion.
Mahomes was taken to the locker room shortly after the injury, which took place on a rushing attempt.
He was replaced by veteran Chad Henne, who played in the Chiefs’ last game in Week 17 and threw two touchdown passes in the loss vs. the Los Angeles Chargers.
Before that Henne had not thrown a touchdown pass since 2014, as a member of the Jacksonville Jaguars.
